Breathing Circuits

The T-Piece Resuscitator Circuit is intended to deliver controlled positive pressure ventilation (PPV) to neonates and infants with conditions such as respiratory distress with mature lungs, transient breathing difficulty after birth, or inadequate spontaneous respiration requiring assisted ventilation. It is commonly used during neonatal resuscitation, transport, and short-term respiratory assistance in delivery rooms, NICUs, and emergency care settings.

The circuit connects to a T-piece resuscitator device and provides a safe and consistent flow of medical gases to the patient. It allows clinicians to deliver both Peak Inspiratory Pressure (PIP) and Positive End Expiratory Pressure (PEEP) in a controlled manner, supporting effective lung inflation while minimizing the risk of barotrauma. The circuit is compatible with standard humidifiers and air–oxygen blenders and is intended for reusable and made up of medical-grade biocompatible materials.

It should be cleaned, disinfected, or sterilized according to hospital infection control protocols after each use. Gentle handling is essential to prevent damage to sensitive components such as sensors, probes, cables, and connectors.
